My laboratory work at Wisconsin Lutheran College is devoted primarily to the physics of fluids. Recently, I published experimental work on acoustic imaging of Rayleigh-Benard convection, the dynamics of vortex rings, and a computational analysis of tidal instabilities on multi-moon planets. I am currently working toward developing an apparatus to study the fluid dynamics of thin soap films, and am seeking students who are interested in working on this project. Other ongoing student projects include astrophotography and text-processing using the google N-gram databases. Please contact me if you are a student and are looking to get involved!
