Discussion: Today we will look at a reading selection on the topic of rhetoric. It is from Phillip Melanchthon's Orations. Title: Praise of Eloquence (1523).

Liberal Arts Seminar (LAS 101)

This course will introduce students to a liberal arts curriculum in a confessional Lutheran context. This course is intended to prepare students to consider their college careers as valuable in themselves, applicable to all aspects of one’s life, and to facilitate a deep curiosity for learning that extends beyond one’s years in formal education.
