From our previous discussions, you might recall that the trivium—that part of the liberal arts curriculum that focuses on language—is comprised of three parts: grammar, logic, and rhetoric.
Today we'll focus on logic. In particular, we will take a close look at Chapter 1 of a book by Ryan Topping. The Chapter is called Logos: rational speech. You should read this before coming to class. It is available as a pdf file by clicking here.
